Media Download Directions
This page is intended to provide assistance to those seeking to keep
audio files from Stone Kingdom Ministries on their computers, portable
audio devices, or CD players. Depending on your software, computer
hardware, and other variables unseen, not all of these directions will
work for your situation.
Downloading Files:
- Click with your right mouse button on any file name that is
underlined and in blue
- "Context menu" appears with options to Open, Open in New Tab,
etc. Click with your left button on "Save Target As..."
- You will be prompted to save the file. On the left-hand
side of the dialog box, click on "Documents" or "My Documents" to
put the file into your Documents folder. Or, you can choose to put
it into your "My Music" or "Music" folder-which makes it easier to
find and play later.
- The progress meter will show the progress of the file being
downloaded. Depending on your Internet speed, it could take a
few seconds, or several minutes. These files are large, and
can take quite a while over a dial-up connection.
You can now use Windows Media Player to play these files, synchronize
them with your media player of choice (except iPods or Zunes) and burn them to a
CD. If you have an iPod by Apple, you will need to use the iTunes
software on your computer. However, it is easy to have iTunes find
these files. If you have a Zune, the software should detect the files if
they are saved to your default music folder.
Using Windows Media Player
- Open Windows Media Player. Depending on your settings, you
may open straight to the library. This is list of all the
music on your computer-at least that which is in a folder being
monitored by Media Player. To be sure, click on the "Library"
button located immediately near the top of the screen, then click on
the "Music" list item.
- There should be a list of all the music and other sound files
within your Music (or "My Music") folder. If the file you
downloaded is not in there, click on the "Library" button again,
then click on "Add to Library."

- There should be a list of locations being monitored for new
files. Look through the list to be sure the location you used
for downloading is on the list. If not, click on the "Add"
button, and browse to your download location.
- Adding new files might take a while, so let Media Player go
through its process.
- Assuming you now can see the downloaded file in your list, you
can double-click on it to play it on your computer. To put it
on a CD, go back to the Media Player menu bar (where you see the
"Library" button) and click on the "Burn" button. Make sure
you have appropriate media to burn to and that your computer
supports burning CDs. Click with your right mouse button on
the downloaded file and choose "Add to Burn List" from the menu that
comes up. With the file name now appearing on the right, click
on the "Start Burn" button near the bottom of the Burn List pane.
Your CD should begin burning.
